WoW story
Yviana tried to ignore the pain at her wrists where the cold iron cuffs rubbed against her fragile skin. Gormer was also chained to the wall not far from her, his once light fur now stained with blood and dirt, in a cage on the other side of the room her brother or rather what once was her brother lay there. With all the experiments that Apothecary Faranell did on her brother she could see that her brothers essence no longer inhabited his body, the bright green eyes could no longer be seen, instead there was a dark hollow that replaced them. The body she knew as her brothers what was there now was something evil, very evil. Seelen had betrayed them and Torric as well, as Seelen had been his mate in former life, it was clear he would follow her, but his betrayal hurt non the less. Knowing that the torture would continue she thought back to the day that had set this event into motion.
Gormer walked in to the Filthy Animal and took a seat next to a blood elf girl, she looked at him with hope in her face and her green eyes shining bright. The huge taurant shook his head.
- King Varian did not go for it. He whispered. Yviana bowed her head with sadness and the green eyes in the pale face seem to lose some of it's color. Gormer noted that the inn was near empty, except for few trolls standing at the bar, as it often was at this hour. It all seemed so hopeless right now... Yviana stared into her empty class and said nothing. Gormer waved one of the barmaids over, Umbivia, and asked for a cub of frog venom brew, he looked at Yviana.
- Silvermoon Port? He asked, she nodded. He handed Umbivia two gold and told her to keep it coming. As a druit this was not something he did often he had dedicated this life to healing and remitaiting of the body and mind but this day was too disappointing that he just wanted to forget it. They did not talk for some time seeming too focused on drinking then the young warlock broke the silence as she directed her green eyes at Gormer.
- What do we do now? All this work and planning for what? Gormer shrugged...
- I am not sure what will happen now. Maybe Drek'Thar and Hamuul can find a way out of this. They will, with Thrall, find a way. Yviana turned her attention back to the glass in her hand.
- This has been done before. She emptied her glass and waved her hand at the barmaid and pointed at her glass. Umbivia came over and filled the glass and placed frog venom brew in front of Gormer before she left them to it.
Ulfer entered the inn, scanned it quick and then planted himself across of his sister and Gerro his friend sat down next to him.
- So this is how you intend to remintate the situation. The orc rumbled, he was a great warrior, working closely with Garrosh and sometimes even with Thrall. Ulfer and Gerro had meet when Ulfer had finished his paladin training and went to Orgrimmar seeking glory. He found it, as he now fought along side Gerro.
- so what happened? Asked Gormer. Ulfer smiled.
- Well as you know, we waited for Thrall and Garrosh. As we escorted them to the Orgrimmar portal. Thrall cursed Garrosh, he was really mad at him, saying something about Garrosh not having an diplomatic bone in nor on him. He also said something about Garrosh needed to learn his place when companing Thrall. Garrosh was silent all the way, not a word from him and that is rare. After seeing them off to the portal we went back to talk to Rhonin to find out what had happened. He did say, that Garrosh provoked the situation and that King Wrynn is still sceptical.
- Sylvannas'! Yviana growled the name as her fist hit the table. Gerro nodded in agreement.
- The forsaken had their own agenda, leading their own battle. We also lost many good warriors, I and Ulfer barely got away. King Wrynn my think us to be savages that can sacrifice our own people to bring down few of his! He shook his head. That is not how we are, anymore, after the fight against the Burning Legion along side the alliance, we have changed! The hold that was pulling at us was broken, now we just seek to survive like every one else. Gerro pulled lightly on his red beard.
- But the undead are a different story, they have never been part of the Horde union in the same way as the rest of us. They all fell silent for few moments... Gormer took a quick look around the room, before talking to the others in a low voice.
- We must find a way to unite the horde and the alliance against the Litch King, alone we might be able to push him back and disturb his plans but united we might be bale to defeat him. Yviana smiled sarcastically at Gormer.
- You do know that was the whole idea with the arrangement earlier and it did not go as hoped. But one thing is sure, we have to do something after all the work we have put into this. Ulfer darted up from the seat.
- I have it! He said and sat down again, looking around as he continued in a low voice. I know what we need to do! We recruit Seelen and Torric to help us. Gerro growled...
- The forsaken! What can they help us with, they are the problem. Ulfer grinned...
- I know those two they will follow Thrall to the end of the world. We get them to help us gather information and find plans Sylvannas' has in store. If we snoop around and they infiltrade the inner circle! We can get proof to the alliance that the horde are not taking part in Sylvannas' plans. Then they might join us in the battle against the Litch King and take down the forsaken, that oppose us. There was silence as they all considered this for a moment. Gerro was first to respond.
- I will go were needed to secure the union we need to defeat the Lich King.
- Yes, I second that. Said Gormer and nodded. Yviana smiled.
- I am up for adventure! Ulfer lifted his glass, as did the others.
- For the HORDE! He said loud and with pride.
- For the HORDE!!! They all answered back. They were proud and excited to go out and do what was needed to secure the continuing survival of the horde. None of them knew what waited them.
